June 1st -Ascension of the Lord Sunday

This Sunday promises to be another time of Spirit-led praise, prayer, study, reflection, and fellowship. I hope you will start your week and month off right by joining us for worship at 10:30am in the LPC Sanctuary as we celebrate Ascension of the Lord Sunday on June 1. We will hear the story of Jesus’ final words to his disciples on earth, as recorded in Acts 1:1-11.

My sermon is titled Power to Bear Witness. Although it is the first Sunday of the month, we will not have communion this Sunday and will instead celebrate the Eucharist next Sunday June 8 on Pentecost.
