See you in church!

This holiday weekend is undoubtedly the best weekend of the year! Amid all the cheese boards, football watching, naps, holiday decorating, online shopping, naps, gorgeous time outdoors, leftover pecan pie for breakfast—and did I mention naps—you also get to kick off the best LITURGICAL season of the year: Advent!

I hope you will join us tomorrow at 10:30am for worship in the LPC sanctuary! We will have a reception for December birthdays, and the LPC choir will sing the beautiful JS Bach piece “Air for Advent.” My sermon for will focus on Jesus’ warnings about the end of the age in Luke 21:25-36. The title listed in the bulletin is “It’s the End of the World as We Know It, and I Feel Fine Honestly, Super Anxious.”
